What day is it?

Hmmm. Yep, it's been a bit like that - we keep asking 'what day is it?' Well it's Wednesday night 11.35 pm (that's Thursday 4.34 a.m. in London). We are all very tired, challenged, blessed, and tired (oh, I said tired already - must be tired!).

Just to underline what was said yesterday, we did a fantastic job clearing and weeding a garden for a terminally ill woman, the family were totally gob-smacked - this was a powerful witness, and I was so proud of our team, they just worked and worked without stopping. Check out the photo's in the top right player.

Today we worked at an open air feeding station for homeless people. As about 150 people gathered, we welcomed them and Brian Junior, Bianca, Deray (Daniel), gave their testimonies. They were each brilliant! Absolutley brilliant! Bianca's word really hit home and she prayed for the crowd, then people came forward for prayer too. It was so good to see our team laying hands on people and confidently blessing them. Shortly after we were giving out food, and these people really needed it!

Later we were at a house shifting 3 pallets of bricks, very sweaty and dirty work. Then onto a local outreach giving out free water , and advertising the church - we're in the middle of a heat wave here, so this was well received. (This is a real heatwave - not a London one!)

Please pray that we will keep our energy up, stay in harmony with each other, and grow even more confident in these coming days. Love to everyone.

  2. Hello dear friends,

I hope you are enjoying your last day in New York. It's good to read that you had some relaxation time. You must be feeling so tired. Still, when you are weak you are strong in the Lord, and you sound very strong in the Lord! Very funny story about Pastor Brian! That is so typical of him!!! (we have so missed his sense of humour back home!!!!!)Please thank Pastor Kevin, John Long and all our other American friends for taking care of you so well. May God bless them abundantly. We are praying for a safe journey home for you and especially praying this scripture: 'For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.' We cant wait to see you all and hear all your stories in person!!

    Lots of love, Nicky xxxxxxx
