Busby's visit to Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle and Mondays events so far..........

Yesterday we went to church, the service was great - Pastor Zarlengo introduced Brian (or Pastor Watts, as he said) and Brian goes up the front holding Busby, yes Busby!! Can you believe it???? - ACTUALLY I am sure you can believe it, if you know Brian, not only did he introduce Busby to the church, he was also VERY determined to get a picture too and just after Pastor Zarlengo prayed for the team, Brian looks over at Daniel and holds up Busby for a photo of all 3 of them together - was such a funny moment. Well Done Brian!!
Then when we finished at church we went onto a beach, as the young people had really wanted to go to the beach - but the beaches were closed, you weren't allowed to swim - so we just took a walk and the young people DID get there swim which was nice for them and then we went onto a BBQ at a family called the Fenimore's, they had never even met us and yet they opened out there home and swimming pool for everyone to relax - was so beautiful, they even had a golf course in the garden, which everyone enjoyed having a go at- Aiesha was great at hitting the golf ball so far!! So, everyone enjoyed Strawberry and Peaches and Cream iced smoothies and lots of relaxing either in the pool or by the side of the pool.
Then we went onto Dan and Anne-Marie Murphys house, where the young people enjoyed a nice relaxing time, chilling and being comfortable in a loving home!
Thank you to the Fernimore's and our dear friends Dan and Anne-Marie for their kind hospitality and Thank you God for allowing us these times of relaxing!!


So, This morning we went and did some gardening (or 'yard work', as the americans say!?) for an elderly lady who lives near the church and PK found out she is now in a nursing home, so she needed to have some work done to the house! We got there around 9am and got stuck into pulling out weeds, mowing the lawn, raking up leaves and generally doing anything we could to make the garden look nice. While we were there her son- Joe came past and he happened to be going to his Mum's house to sort out the inside, as he is looking to sell it and the team prayed for him and his family which was great.
I (Angela) am now back at the YWAM base, while the rest of the team are back at the Hobbs Farm, where we went at the beginning of the week - as twinged my back while gardening and didn't think it would be wise to go to the farm, as LOTS of bending and not sure it can take that right now!?
Please, keep everyone in your prayers today, as everyone is definitely feeling more tired as the trip is drawing to an end :( But they are all amazing as they are still going. Will be back on later to let you know how it went at the farm.
